Emeline Richardson

Emeline Richardson was a distinguished American classical archaeologist and Etruscan scholar. Richardson pursued her academic career at Radcliffe College. Her professional journey included faculty positions at Wheaton College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as lecturing engagements at Stanford and Yale Universities. Richardson was involved in the Cosa excavations in the 1950s. She was a member of the American Philosophical Society. Richardson's work has been widely published, and her notable works include 'The Etruscans: Their Art and Civilization'.
